Introduction

Open Banking

Credins Bank enables access to PSD2 Account Information Services (AIS), Payment Initiation Services (PIS) and funds confirmation requests utilising REST API services compliant with the Berlin Group NextGenPSD2 framework version 1.3.12 as defined in the Implementation Guidelines

Access to these services on behalf of Consumers is controlled by strong customer authentication (SCA) within Credins Bank apps as part of OpenID Connect (OIDC) authorisation flows.

If you are a third-party service provider (TPP) seeking access to Credins Bank PSD2 APIs, you must:

  • be licensed by a national regulatory authority (NCA)
  • have a valid QWAC Certificate. The official list of QTSP is available on the European Commission eIDAS Trusted List. The QWAC Certificate must be issued from a Production certificate authority

SCA 180 Days Exemption

Following the EBA amendments under Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 2022/2360, the Credins Bank dedicated interface (Berlin Group APIs) enables the SCA consent exemption under SCA-RTS, Article 10a for AISPs.

This feature allows AISPs to extend the timeline for the renewal of SCA from every 90 days to every 180 days.

To benefit from the 180 days SCA consent exemption on the AIS flow, the Account Information consent request must contain the date value of up to 180 days in future within the mandatory validUntilparameter request body.
